Six days before their ceremony, Wim and Farhad’s world stood still for a brief moment. I firmly believe that everything in life happens for a reason and that some things unfold exactly as they are meant to.
Wim said, “Sometimes fate works in the most wonderful ways.” I think those words describe their story perfectly. Just six days before the wedding, their original photographer cancelled, leaving Wim and Farhad with the challenge of creating a completely new plan within only a few days.
Three phone calls later, that plan was in place — and we packed our bags to meet Wim and Farhad in person. Within just a few days, strangers became familiar faces.
Their wedding began with the ceremony at Lenzburg Castle before continuing at the Seerose on Lake Hallwil. There, we experienced a vibrant celebration where Thai and Afghan traditions came together. Colour, music, family and countless genuine emotions made the day truly unforgettable.
What first appeared to be a small disaster became one of those stories we will remember for a long time. Not because everything went according to plan, but because, in the end, exactly the right people found one another at exactly the right moment.
